Alick Kay is a lecturer in organisational behaviour and management at UniSA Business.  As a teaching academic, Alick's focus is on courses at City West, with over a decade spent also running courses in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. 
Alick Kay has an MBA and BSc (Hons) (Psychology) from The University of Adelaide with a current research focus on creativity and space.  As a registered psychologist, Alick has run his own small business which involved recruitment and selection, and career advice, and worked in consulting projects involved in organisational change.  He has given presentations to professional bodies in the mining and health sectors.
Alick’s international connections involve working for a major oil company in the UK and an international Scandinavian consulting company, running seminars in Eastern Europe.  Alick was involved in the start of the executive partners program for the School of Management, being part of an inaugural delegation which visited the William and Mary College in Williamsburg in the US.  From that, the program is still running and now includes international student exchange.
Having a wide range of interests, Alick was part of the inaugural executive for the International Society for Metal Music Studies, based in the UK.  He has also presented at organisational behaviour teaching conferences in the US, Italy, and New Zealand, as well as at advances in management conferences in the US, Europe and Asia. Other presentations have been in the fields of tourism, leisure, education and ethics.
Alick brings more than 30 years of teriary teaching experience, including involvement in both the local and international business spheres in a range of management disciplines, along with having designed, co-ordinated and taught in 12 courses over the last 15 years, and a program director for 15 years in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
