Shadi is an accomplished researcher and lecturer in the field of project management, boasting over 15 years of experience in both industry and academia. She holds a bachelor's degree in engineering as well as a master's degree in project management. Throughout her career, Shadi has successfully managed and supervised a diverse array of international projects, overseeing them from initial feasibility and conceptualisation to final handover and closure. In addition to her practical skills, Shadi is also a passionate lecturer. She enjoys helping students at all levels, from undergraduates to postgraduates, on their learning paths. She is an expert in teaching project/construction management and showing students how to handle today's challenges in the field.
At present, Shadi is in the final year of her PhD, with a specialised focus on project management. Her research centres on the integration of Risk Management and Change Management processes strategically aimed at mitigating social risks inherent in the realm of smart city programs. This intricate study reflects her commitment to addressing the complex challenges associated with modern project management.
