Professor Nicole Pratt is the Deputy Director of the Quality Use of Medicines and Pharmacy Research Centre,  University of South Australia. She is a member of the Drug Utilisation Subcommittee (DUSC) of the Australian Department of Health Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC).  Nicole is a Fellow of the International Society of Pharmacoepidemiology (FISPE)
She has a particular interest in new statistical methodologies to study the effectiveness and safety of medicine use and in the development of tools for post-marketing surveillance of medicines.
Nicole is a chief investigator of the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Medicines Intelligence.  
She is a collaborator of the Asian Pharmacoepidemiology Network (AsPEN) initiative (www.aspennet.asia) and a collaborator of Observational Health and Data Sciences and Informatics (www.ohdsi.org) which aims to bring out the value of health data through large-scale analytics. 
Nicole is a past expert member for biostatistics of the Therapeutic Goods Administration Advisory Committee on the Safety Of Medicines (ACSOM) and the Advisory Committee on the Safety Of Vaccines (ACSOV).
