College of Education, Behavioural and Social Sciences

Chloe is a recently completed PhD candidate at the Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory at the University of South Australia. Her thesis focused on neurophysiological predictors of cognition in complex and dynamic settings, assessing how EEG can be used to predict individual performance in a submarine simulation and measure fluctuations in performance across mindfulness-based cognitive training. Chloe completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) in 2020, investigating how EEG activity during language processing can inform us about differences in brain function during persistent pain. Across her university experiences, she has developed a passion for data-driven research, statistics and data science, and is excited to apply and share these skills in new contexts after her PhD.
