Ms Pragya Timsina

Pragya Timsina is a PhD student in the Department of Geography, Environment, and Population within the School of Social Sciences at the University of Adelaide. Previously, she worked as a Social Researcher at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Centre (CIMMYT) in India. She holds a Master’s degree in Ecology, Environment, and Sustainable Development from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Guwahati and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Delhi. Pragya has experience in community development and social research across India, Nepal, and Bangladesh. Her research interests focus on gender, marginalized groups, climate change, and resilience.
