I am a PhD student within the Health Evidence Synthesis, Recommendations and Impact (HESRI) team at the University of Adelaide under the supervision of Prof. Zachary Munn, Dr. Danielle Pollock, and Dr. Timothy Barker. My PhD research will focus on how evidence quality assessment tools, such as the GRADE approach and the GIN-McMaster checklist, can be applied in the development of clinical practice guidelines for rare diseases. The ultimate goal of my PhD is to develop a novel checklist that addresses the specific limitations associated with rare disease guidelines and improves treatment and management strategies for these conditions.

I have a background in Health and Medical Sciences and, prior to completing my Master of Public Health last year, I discovered my passion for research and my interest in how research can promote evidence-based healthcare, bridging the gap between the amazing work of laboratory scientists and healthcare policymakers.
