Higher Degree by Research Candidate

I am a Doctoral Researcher, my research lies at the intersection of advanced materials, sensor technologies, and process monitoring, where I aim to develop innovative tools and methodologies that can be directly applied to real-world challenges. With a focus on sustainability, my work contributes to a deeper understanding of materials behavior and functionality, particularly in the context of sensing applications and continuous manufacturing.I have developed advanced sensor platforms for real-time monitoring of critical parameters, with specific applications in mRNA manufacturing. By integrating biosensors with various analytical techniques, I have contributed to improving quality control and process efficiency in biopharmaceutical production. I have also worked extensively with optical biosensing systems, microfluidic lab-on-a-chip platforms, and nanostructured materials to build compact and reliable sensing systems for biomedical and environmental applications. In parallel, I am actively involved in exploring the properties and applications of nanostructured materials, particularly Nanoporous Anodic Alumina (NAA). My work with NAA focuses on its potential in areas such as surface modification, molecular filtration, and chemical and biological sensing. These investigations are part of my broader effort to engineer novel functional materials that align with sustainable and scalable technological advancements.Throughout my research career, I have developed strong expertise in a variety of analytical and characterization techniques essential for materials evaluation and process validation. These include Raman spectroscopy, UV/Vis spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Energy Dispersive X-ray Analysis (EDAX), etc. My hands-on experience with these tools enables me to comprehensively analyze materials at both the structural and molecular level, driving informed experimentation and innovation.Beyond research, I'm also passionate about education and have contributed as a faculty member, teaching both foundational and advanced courses in physics and material science. I find great fulfillment in mentoring students and translating complex scientific concepts into accessible knowledge.I am deeply motivated by the potential of materials science to address pressing global challenges. Whether through innovative sensing technologies, sustainable materials design, or interdisciplinary collaboration, I am committed to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in engineering and science.
