Tace is a PhD Student undertaking her candidature within the Myeloma Research Laboratory and the Supportive Oncology Research Group, at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI). Her research focuses on modulating the blood-brain barrier to optimise drug delivery and therapeutic outcomes for the treatment of debilitating brain cancers/diseases, with a specific interest in paediatric oncology.
This research aims to increase patient quality of life, and extend the overall survival of patients with devastating CNS diseases.
