I am a PhD candidate in the School of Psychology, my research is focused on exploring LGBTQIA+ experiences from a psychological perspective utilising qualitative research methodologies, reflexive thematic analysis in particular. My honours thesis explored the experiences and perceptions of LGBTQIA+ students at the University of Adelaide and whether students felt supported, accepted, and safe as a social minority in this tertiary context. My current PhD project is focused on investigating the facets of the emerging construct of 'gender euphoria' for transgender and gender-diverse individuals and to better understand how it can be applied in social, clinical, and cultural contexts. I am non-binary and use they/them pronouns.
