I am teaching within the School of Allied Health Science and for the Occupational Therapy program. I have worked as a clinical occupational therapist for 10 year. Clinically, I have predominantly worked in the area of subacute inpatient rehabilitation, aged care, disability and restorative care, as well as in areas of geriatric, orthopaedic, palliative care and amputee areas within SA Health. I have worked casually as a tutor and research assistant at Flinders University in the Health Science and Occupational therapy programs. As a clinical occupational therapist, I have supported and supervised various students whilst on clinical placement, has experience with supervising and mentoring students and graduate staff. I completed by Doctor of Philosophy in 2024. My research is centred around housing and ageing, particularly, my thesis aimed at evaluating whether a digital health tool could be used for older individuals to independently assess their current homes for accessibility and safety. Enabling older people to continue living at home for as long as possible.
