My research centres around understanding the interactions between cognition and emotion. Specifically, I aim to understand how emotions influence the way people remember the past and think about the future, and how past and future situations influence the way people feel in the present. My research combines both experimental and experience sampling methods, where people complete multiple smartphone surveys each day.
