I am a PhD student in the School of Psychology, my research involves using qualitative methods to explore women’s sexual health and use of contraception. I am interested in looking at factors influencing contraceptive decision making, such as the role of relationships – particularly within heterosexual relationships – and social media.
My Honours thesis looked at women’s experiences with intrauterine devices (IUDs) and how they use social media to share experiences and information regarding IUDs.
