Dr Qazi Haque is a Senior Lecturer and the Honours Program Director in the School of Economics and Public Policy. His research interests are in Macroeconomics and Applied Macroeconometrics. He holds a PhD in Economics from The University of Adelaide and was awarded the University Doctoral Research Medal in recognition of outstanding doctoral thesis outcome. Prior to joining The University of Adelaide as a Lecturer, he worked as an Economist at the Reserve Bank of Australia and as a Post-Doctoral researcher at The University of Western Australia. He is currently serving as the Secretary in the Executive Board of The Australasian Macroeconomics Society. He is also affiliated as a Research Associate in the Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis (CAMA) at ANU and has been a visiting researcher at renowned academic and policy institutions including the University of Oxford, Reserve Bank of New Zealand, and De Nederlandsche Bank. His research has been published in top-ranked journals including, among others, in the European Economic Review, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Journal of Applied Econometrics.
