Arefa Sultana is a PhD candidate in the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Adelaide. Her main research interests include religion and politics, secularism, Islam and democracy, democratic leadership, voting behaviour, and ethnicity. She has published many journal articles, including the most recent articles on the Rohingya crisis in Bangladesh-Myanmar and the Effectiveness of Anti-corruption Commission in Bangladesh.
