Scott Jenkin is a PhD candidate at the University of Adelaide, bringing a decade of industrial experience in research, development and manufacture of advanced bullet and stab-resistant personal protective equipment (PPE). His PhD research seeks to enhance the reliability and effectiveness of stab-resistant PPE testing protocols through development of innovative test apparatus hardware and the application of statistically principled methodologies. Dedicated to setting new benchmarks in safety, Scott’s work aims to significantly enhance the consistency of standardised assessments, ultimately improving PPE performance and ensuring superior protection for end-users.
