I am a PhD candidate in the Develop Well Research Group at the University of Adelaide, supervised by Dr Nicole Nelson and Dr Mark Kohler. My PhD research focuses on children's ability to understand and use emotional expressivity through face and body cues to interact with others. My research interests are broad, but I am primarily interested in areas related to developmental, social and cognitive psychology, particularly in early childhood through to adolescence.

My research examines how children learn to understand and express emotions through their interactions with parents, siblings, and peers, and whether there are similarities in emotional expressivity and comprehension within families.
