I am a quantitative ecologist interested in safeguarding biodiversity from threatening processes. My research focuses on empowering conservation practitioners by giving them tools to make informed, effective management decisions. I currently work as a research fellow in the Securing Antarctica's Environmental Future (SAEF) programme, investigating approaches to prevent future biological invasions from occurring within the Antarctic region. Central themes explored in my research are biodiversity conservation, biogeography, decision making, invasive species, islands, and global change.
