Jackson Howie

Jackson is a PhD candidate with the Centre for Heart Rhythm Disorders, University of Adelaide, specialising in the effects of exercise on left atrial function in atrial fibrillation, heart failure and stroke. Additionally, he is exploring cardiac imaging, pacing, and oxygen kinetics. He holds a bachelors in exercise science, and a masters in clinical exercise physiology, earning the chancellor’s letter of commendation for his academic achievements. Jackson has since gained exposure to both clinical and athletic populations, and is greatly motivated to make a meaningful contribution to the field.
