Stephanie Hewitt started her journey into research in 2022 with her honours project investigating a vaccination administration method for the Salmonella Typhimurium live, attenuated vaccine. She is now a PhD candidate with at University of Adelaide. Her thesis topic focuses on the 'Epidemiology of Avian Hepatitis E Virus in Australian Layer Hens'. Her first chapter has been published in the Veterinary Microbiology Journal.
