Asgiri Jayasekara is an MPhil candidate at the University of Adelaide. She obtained her Bachelor of Food and Nutrition Science and a First-class Honours from the University of Adelaide in 2021 and 2023 respectively. Her current research focuses on mapping and monitoring food waste from Australian Quick Service Restaurants. She is supervised by Helen Morris, Dr Olena Kravchuk and Prof Sarah Wheeler.
