I am a full-time Lecturer in the School of Psychology at the University of Adelaide. I am currently teaching into the Online Graduate Diploma in Psychology. My research interests lie in the area of life body image/eating disorders and how they interact with sexual orientation, and personality disorders.

My PhD thesis considered the complex relationship of body image and sexual orientation, with the focus on lesbian women. This PhD was undertaken from the University of South Australia, and was supervised by Professor David Gleaves, A/Professor Amanda Hutchinson, A/Professor Phil Kavanagh, and A/Professor Elizabeth Reiger .

My research has a focus on body image and eating disorders, and looking at the cross-section between gender and sexuality. I also research borderline personality disorder in collaboration with the Borderline Personality Disorder Collaborative (SA Health).

I have experience with both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.  

I'm a Course Coordinator for the Online Graduate Diploma of Psychology. I coordinate courses on Social Psychology, Foundations of Psychology, Research Methods, Design, and Analysis, and Individual Differences and Assessment.
