Ellen Williams
School of Allied Health Science and Practice
Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences
Dr Williams is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and Associate Lecturer in the School of Allied Health Science and Practice. She recently completed a PhD at the University of Adelaide, which investigated the use of non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) as a treatment for post-stroke aphasia using techniques including electroencephalography. She also explored the barriers and facilitators that influence implementation of new technologies such as NIBS in speech pathology practice. Dr Williams' current research interests lie in optimising treatment approaches for people living with post-stroke aphasia, with a particular focus on "living well" after stroke.
