My research interests include health equity, wellbeing, and culturally responsive care using qualitative research methods. My work also includes a focus across the broad areas of oral health, access to dental care, family wellbeing and experiences of support in the First 2000 Days (across conception to age 5 including in pregnancy and early childhood).

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher within the Indigenous Oral Health Unit, Australian Research Centre for Population Oral Health (ARCPOH). I work across projects including the Indigenous Australian HPV Cohort Study and the Culturally-Safe Dental Care Project. I undertook my PhD within the School of Psychology Develop Well Research Lab, supervised by A/Prof Clemence Due, Dr Alyssa Sawyer and Dr Amanda Taylor. My research focused on the wellbeing experiences and support needs of families from South and Southeast Asian refugee and migrant backgrounds in Australia during the First 2000 Days. We aimed to understand how services and healthcare practitioners may provide culturally responsive care for families across pregnancy and early childhood.
