Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences

Dr Stacey Savin is a postdoctoral researcher in the Vascular Immunology of Pregnancy Group at the Robinson Research Institute, University of Adelaide. Her expertise lies in reproductive immunology and the early life origins of health and disease.

Her current research focuses on investigating how immune and vascular dysfunction contribute to pregnancy complications such as preeclampsia and fetal growth restriction. Stacey conducts both clinical cohort studies at the Lyell McEwin Hospital within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) and utilises preclinical models of preeclampsia as part of her research.

Her research interests include:
• Maternal and neonatal health following pregnancy complications
• Environmental and social factors affecting health throughout pregnancy
• Understanding the molecular mechanisms contributing to adverse pregnancy outcomes
