I completed my PhD in Project Management of Infrastructure Projects, focusing on the topic:
"Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on the Sustained Development of Infrastructure Projects: Putting Economies on the Brink."

My research interests are centred around project management, infrastructure development, supply chain resilience, and sustainable transitions in the post-pandemic and renewable energy contexts. I have authored six research papers closely aligned with these interests:

  1. Reviving Construction Supply Chains in Post-Pandemic: Comprehensive Strategic Framework for Mega Infrastructure Projects
This paper presents a comprehensive strategic framework for the supply chains supporting mega infrastructure projects, addressing short-term practices of efficiency, flexibility, resilience, and agility, and long-term strategies of sustainability, digitalisation, diversification, and workforce development in response to pandemic-related challenges.
  2. Analysing Resilience and Leagility in Post-Pandemic Sustainable Supply Chain Management: A Systematic Literature Review
Introducing the concept of ‘leagility’—a synthesis of leanness and agility—this paper highlights the necessity to strengthen supply chain resilience and leagility to achieve sustainability. It emphasises skills development for planning across project phases and time frames, aligning with organisational goals, and embracing smart risk-taking under uncertainty.
  3. Navigating the Post-COVID Landscape: Assessing Impacts, Opportunities, and Challenges in the Australian Infrastructure Sector and Its Supply Chains
Using a mixed-method research design and an extensive literature review, this study underscores the critical role of innovation, sustainability, collaboration, and adaptability to secure a resilient and prosperous future for Australia's infrastructure sector.
  4. Looking Beyond the COVID-19 Pandemic: Navigating Strategic Shift for Achieving the New Normal in the Global Infrastructure Sector
This research advocates for a proactive, strategic shift for infrastructure organisations, arguing that while short-term provisional measures offer immediate relief, achieving sustained growth and resilience requires comprehensive and forward-looking strategic transformations.
  5. Navigating Project Success in the Infrastructure Sector: Broadening the Lens Beyond the Traditional Triple Constraints of Time, Cost, and Scope
This study argues that while meeting time, cost, and scope parameters indicates project management success, true project success is defined by the achievement of broader stakeholder goals and alignment with organisational performance standards.
  6. Australia’s Renewable Energy Sector: Exploring Pathways to Achieve Net-Zero Emissions and Supply Chain Sustainability (under advanced review)
This study reviews key barriers to Australia's renewable energy transition, including fossil fuel reliance, grid challenges, and regional disparities. It highlights the need for innovation, policy reforms, and strategic investments to strengthen supply chains and infrastructure. A framework for sustainable development is proposed, emphasising collaboration between government and industry to support Australia’s net-zero goals.
