Researcher interested in the impacts of cancer and cancer treament on musculoskeletal health. PhD research explored treatment-induced effects on the bone in the breast cancer setting, with an experimental focus on HER-targeted breast cancer treatment and the bone protective potential of gut-modulating therapies.

My research focuses on investigating the effects of cancer and cancer treatments on the skeletal system. PhD research explored the skeletal effects of small molecule HER-targeted breast cancer treatment, approved for use in the setting of HER2+ breast cancer. Another focus of my research is understanding the emerging gut-bone axis and how the gut microbiome influences the skeletal outcomes in patients with cancer.
