After accomplishing my Bachelor of Biological Sciences, I received a competitive 4-years scholarship to undertake my PhD from October 2010 to February 2015 at the Complutense University of Madrid. My past postdoctoral experience includes a 6-months postdoctoral grant at the King Juan Carlos University in 2016 and a two and a half years (2017-2019) postdoctoral position at the Spanish National Research Council (MNCN-CSIC), specifically working in a Biodiversa European Project. Currently, I'm holding a postdoctoral position at the University of Adelaide, in Australia. The multidisciplinary experiences over my research career have allowed me to develop expertise in diversity of fields, including biological invasions, biogeography and biodiversity patterns, plant community ecology, functional ecology, and impacts of global change. I have had the chance to work in a variety of different scientific teams, and my experiences have always been rewarding both personally and professionally.
