Mohamed Amen is a Research Associate and Microfabrication Engineer at the Australian National Fabrication Facility (ANFF) and the Future Industries Institute, South Australian node, UniSA. He received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of South Australia, specializing in the development of nanoscale field-effect transistors for biosignal monitoring. Prior to that, he obtained his Master’s degree in Biomaterial Engineering from Chonbuk National University, South Korea, in 2019. Dr. Amen has more than five years of teaching experience. Currently, his research interests focus on translating solid-state nanosensor technology for point-of-care testing of heart failure and traumatic brain injury.
