Hassan Imran Masud is a PhD student in Chemical Engineering at the University of Adelaide. His research focus is on applying chemical engineering processes and design strategies to retired battery recycling and waste management to advance industrialization and commercialization of battery recycling infrastructure.

He has completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the same university. During Master's, Hassan's research focused on the production of green hydrogen fuel. He co-designed affordable catalysts and developed reactor design to efficiently produce hydrogen from ammonia decomposition using computational methods and numerical solutions.

Hassan's research interest involves renewable energy and sustainability. Through his work, he aims to bridge the gap between research and industry to help the world move towards a better future.
