Julia is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian with a broad range of experience providing inpatient and outpatient dietetics services in Adelaide, South Australia. Julia was awarded her master’s in clinical science in 2020; her research utilised the JBI Methodology for conduct of a qualitative systematic review investigating the use of electronic personal health records for self-management of non-communicable chronic diseases. Julia commenced her PhD in 2023 to continue to advance the field of Implementation Science. Her research focus is to develop an implementation strategy for nutrition interventions in cardiac rehabilitation for the secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease. Julia’s interests include research that explores how to improve health outcomes through food, nutrition, and digital innovations, in addition to the advancing the understanding and development of research methodology that supports getting trusted evidence into practice.
