Sabine Selbach is a dentist who works as a Senior Lecturer in the field of Periodontics at the Adelaide Dental School since 2020. After finishing her undergraduate degree in Germany in 2005 she was awarded a prize for the best national dental board examination. For seven years she has worked as a Research Assistant and Assistant Professor at the Heinrich-Heine-University Dusseldorf, Germany, and focused her clinical training and practice on the treatment of periodontal diseases. As certified principal investigator she was instrumental in setting up and conducting a large clinical study supported by the European Union with 380.000 Euro grant money. In 2014 she defeated her thesis in the field of Oral Microbiology and Periodontics. Since 2016 she is registered as dental practitioner in Australia.
