Kate completed her PhD in the Cancer Treatment Toxicities Group in 2021, investigating the role of the gut microbiome in the development of cancer treatment-induced gastrointestinal injury. She is currently an Adjunct Associate Lecturer in the School of Biomedicine at the University of Adelaide.
