Dr Susie Chant is Program Coordinator and Lecturer at UniSA Business. As a lecturer Susie’s main commitment is to excellence in quality teaching for the programs she teaches into, both at post graduate and undergraduate level, in the areas of business ethics, management, entrepreneurship and tourism. Susie is a member of the Centre for Enterprise Dynamics in Global Economies (C-EDGE), which engages in research and innovation that fosters enterprising solutions for the problems that challenge local, regional, and global prosperity, and she is also Chair of the UniSA Sustainability Working Group, which is committed to reducing the university's carbon footprint through the promotion of practical changes to the way we all work. She has a PhD in Food Localism, which won the Dean's award for excellence, a Masters in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and a Masters in Gastronomy. In addition, Susie is the recipient of the 2021 Executive Dean Award for Excellence in Learning and Teaching, Program Design Online MBA. Prior to working at UniSA, Susie owned many award-winning hospitality businesses in South Australia, and has also worked as a successful chef in several locations around the world, including Blenheim Palace in England and Grand Cayman Island in the West Indies. She is also a food judge and panel chair for the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show, where she judges commercial food products.
