M.Phil Candidate at the University, in Classics, Archaeology, and Ancient History. My thesis looks at the notion of free speech in the Roman world, and how Romans responded to restrictions upon free speech under the Julio-Claudian dynasty. As a part of this, I have a specific interest in the role of the last will and testament as a means by which to speak freely under Empire.
