Dr Mandi Carr

Graduating from the University of Queensland, Mandi has worked in large animal private and government practice for the past 25 years. She is involved with the teaching of livestock health and production across the Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Veterinary Technology, Animal Behaviour and Agricultural Science based degrees. She has a Masters of Veterinary Science and a Diploma of Practice Management. Her research focuses on finding solutions to increase the sustainability, productivity and profitability of farmers by enhancing the welfare and resilience of livestock to improve health and production outcomes.
Mandi is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences located at the Roseworthy Campus of the University of Adelaide, with extensive experience in livestock (cattle, sheep, goat, alpaca) health. Her research focuses on finding solutions to increase the sustainability, productivity and profitability of farmers by enhancing the welfare and resilience of livestock to improve health and production outcomes.
