College of Engineering and Information Technology
I am a Postdoctoral researcher in Petroleum Engineering at the Australian School of Petroleum and Energy Resources. I am performing novel research on fluid flow and formation damage in porous media. My work includes contribution to government and industry projects with particular focus on enhanced oil/gas recovery processes and geosequestration of CO2. My work is primarily focused on mathematical modelling to improve design and predictive capabilities with contributions to experimental works to improve understanding of underlying processes.
My research consists of:
- Fines migration and formation damage during single-phase and two-phase flow
- Formation damage and geochemical interactions during CO2 storage in subsurface reservoirs
- Underground hydrogen storage
- Enhanced oil recovery
My primary focus is on theoretical developments and mathematical modelling for flow in porous media. My research involves both modelling and laboratory studies.
