Prof Anne Burke

Anne is the Lead for the South Australian Chronic Pain Statewide Clinical Network (CEIH: Commission on Excellence and Innovation in Health), Co-Director - Psychology (CALHN: Central Adelaide Local Health Network) and Past President (2019-2021) of the Australian Pain Society. She is also a Clinical Professor with the University of Adelaide (where she completed her PhD studies in the area of chronic pain) and a registered Clinical and Health Psychologist with dual endorsement in both areas of specialist practice. Anne has supervised and conducted research in the areas of forensic and clinical health psychology, with her primary research interests being the management of pain and other chronic health conditions, the impact of waiting for services, clinical workforce issues, and health service design and delivery.
