Dr Robert Boucaut (he/him) is a Lecturer in media and cultural studies scholar at the University of Adelaide. He specialises in assessing and problematizing claims of cultural prestige in screen media. His research analyses screen texts and stardoms for the mediated structures they occupy, the cultural concerns they embody, and the discursive actions of their audiences.
