Dr. Heng Zheng Ting is a postdoctoral researcher at Adelaide University. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, where his research centred on the theoretical modelling of particle detachment in porous media. His research interests focus on computational fluid dynamics (CFD), particularly applied to high-viscosity laminar flows, thermal transport, and multiphase systems. With experience in both academic and industry-linked projects, his work supports innovation in resource extraction from porous media, in-situ metal recovery, and, more recently, the design and manufacturing of ZBLAN glass fibres.
