I am an Online Course Facilitator and have been teaching at UniSA since 2019.
Before teaching, I worked in media and communications for more than two decades. I worked as a print, radio, television and online journalist, including more than a decade at the ABC. In my time with the national broadcaster, I was a radio and television reporter, covering daily news, courts, state and federal politics, and served as newsroom Chief of Staff. I also worked in Current Affairs, reporting for AM, PM and The World Today.
I have more than a decade of experience from the other side of the news cycle as well. I worked as Senior Media Adviser to South Australian Premier Mike Rann as well as Jay Weatherill. I have led media and communications teams in government and the tertiary sector, managing advertising, social media and engagement campaigns.
I am passionate about ethical journalism, and served for several years on the State and Federal Councils of the Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance.
