My research is focused on fluid mechanics and mathematical biology. My papers have been published in well regarded journals, such as Acta Biomaterialia, Journal of Theoretical Biology, Journal of Fluid Mechanics, among others.
Throughout my career I have been involved in applying mathematics to real-world problems. Most recently I have been been working on modelling optical fibre fabrication (fluid mechanics) and how to grow artificial cartilage (mathematical biology).
