Baohui XIE is a scholarly teaching fellow in the Department of Asian Studies at the University of Adelaide in Australia. He is a NAATI certified translator (English<->Chinese), and he holds an interpreter (advanced level) credential from China. His main research focuses on contemporary Chinese politics and media. He has also researched and written on translation studies as well as English language and literature. His research results have been published in the form of journal articles, book chapters, edited books and monolographs. He teaches courses related to Asian Studies, Chinese language, culture, translation and interpreting. He is available for supervising research master and PhD students in such areas as Chinese politics, religion, journalism and translation studies.
