Judith Nairn

School of Allied Health Science and Practice

Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences

Judi is an an Education Specialist in the School of Allied Health Science and Practice, and a member of the Adelaide Education Academy. She is the academic lead for learning and teaching in the School and was specifically appointed to this role based on her experience leading and innovating in healthcare education. She is convener and chair the School’s research and scholarship group.
Judi's research interests align with her teaching philosophy, and relate to the investigating the factors that contribute to the development of sophisticated epistemological beliefs, and the help seeking behaviours of students in academic difficulty. Judi is also an active researcher in the area of Interprofessional Learning, and the use of simulation to develop clinical competency.
