College of Health

Dr Maureen McEvoy co-ordinates the fourth year physiotherapy outpatient course Advanced Rehabilitation and a post graduate course Advanced Physiotherapy Practice 2 (Musculoskeletal) (APP2) in the Master of Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal) program.  She teaches in the undergraduate program predominantly in the areas of musculoskeletal and evidence based practice.

Dr Maureen McEvoy completed a PhD in the area of Evidence Based Practice in allied health professions in 2011, an interest that emerged after many years of clinical teaching in outpatient musculoskeletal management. She has a particular interest in research associated with the training of evidence based practice skills in entry level allied health students, in the use of these skills in outpatient musculoskeletal physiotherapy management and the ability to practice as an evidence based practitioner as graduates transition into the workforce.
