Subha is a lecturer who examines sustainability within the context of individual, organizational and stakeholder behaviours determining the future of work. Her current research focuses on 'S' and 'G' of ESG in the built environment. 
Prior to her current role, Subha has contributed significantly to Curtin University and Edith Cowan University, where she led research for several prestigious centres including the CRC for Low Carbon Living, Defence Research and Engagement, and the Centre for Innovative Practices.She is in the governance of the Principle Responsible Management Education (PRME) Aus/NZ chapter and serves as the deputy co-convenor for the ESG Special Interest Group at the Assets Institute. Currently, she sits on the committees of the Multicultural Communities Council of SA (MCCSA) and the Council of Migrant and Refugee Women (CMRW). She was a PRME lead, member of the sustainability group at UniSA Business and was a key member of the ESG core team for the CRC Copper for Tomorrow bid in 2023 and a committee member of the Australian Indian Business Council, SA chapter. She has worked with a range of clients including the Public Sector Commission, Department of Transport, MainRoads, Defence Science and Technology, Hassell, Brookfield, AECOM, UNSW, and Monash University, demonstrating her versatility and commitment to integrating academic insights with practical applications.

She has achieved recognition as an ‘Early Career Researcher’ and ‘Early Career Teacher’ at the University of South Australia in 2023. Subha was nominated for university-wide awards in 2023 in the categories of 'Unstoppable Early-Career Teaching Award' and 'Unstoppable Awards (Research & Enterprise Stream)'. She holds the title of Fellow at the UK Higher Education Academy. Subha's exceptional PhD work on ‘employee performance in green buildings’ earned her the Chancellor's commendation. Her academic journey includes a merit-based scholarship from the CRC for Low Carbon Living. Subha's scholarly contributions includes publications in several reputable journals (The International Journal of Human Resource Management, Business Strategy and Environment, Journal of Cleaner Production, Acta Psychologica), industry reports, and book chapters.
