Dr Isabella Bower is an emerging leader in environmental cognitive neuroscience. Her research explores whether we can improve brain functioning and mental health through built environment design. Isabella received her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in architecture from Deakin University and the University of Melbourne, Australia. After completing a PhD in psychology from Deakin University, she was awarded a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship from the University of South Australia. Most recently, her contributions have been recognised through the Emerging Researcher Award from the Australasian Cognitive Neuroscience Society, and as a finalist of the NOMIS & Science Young Explorer Award.
