Dr Jesmin Rupa is an applied economist with a research interest in development economics, public health and related policy implications. Dr Rupa has research expertise both in qualitative and quantitative research analyses. Her recent publications demonstrates her research skills in different mix-methodologies. Currently she is working as a Post-doctoral research associate at the University of South Australia (UniSA STEM and Business School). She is also a visiting lecturer in the School of Economics and Public Policy at the University of Adelaide. She also has a research officer position in the department of Rehabilitation, Aged and Palliative Care at Flinders University. Dr Rupa conferred her PhD in 2019 and Masters in 2014 from the University of Adelaide. Her thesis received Dean's Commendation for Doctoral Excellence. She was also invited to be the mace bearer at her graduation ceremony on 3 May, 2019. Dr Rupa has published all her research works in either domestic and international conferences or in peer-reviewed journals (Economics and Health related journals).
