Mr Andrew Kemp
I am a Learning Designer working predominantly in the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences and also an MPhil student in the School of Education researching frameworks to assess attitudes towards educational technologies.
My research concerns using technology acceptance models to evaluate attitudes towards educational technologies. My MPhil project involves constructing a taxonomy of factors affecting attitudes to educational technologies as well as building an instrument from that. Extension to PhD will involved testing that for a large technology, such as a learning management system. I am using both exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modelling in SPSS, AMOS and exploring MPlus.
