Robert Boucaut

Dr Robert Boucaut (he/him) is an adjunct fellow and tutor at the University of Adelaide in the Department of Media. His research analyses prestige film and stardom for the media spaces they occupy, the cultural concerns they embody, and the discursive actions of their audiences. His PhD was conferred in October 2023 – his thesis was titled ‘Oscar Bait: Exploring Links Between an Academy Awards Institutional Persona and Perceptions of Oscar-Worthiness’.
