My research interests include understanding and improvement of cereal crop nutrition and grain quality, and higher yields .
My SAGIT-funded project aims to enhance nitrogen-use efficiency (NUE) in durum wheat through improved genetics. Research outcomes will provide strategies for benchmarking NUE in durum, and identify new parents for breeding programs to optimise NUE potential.
